Meet Saja

Photographer. Animal lover. Adventure seeker.

Hi there! I’m Saja — the face behind Olive Tree Photography. My journey with the camera began in 2005, in the heart of the West Bank. Raised between a quiet farm in Ohio and the rolling hills of Ramallah, Palestine, I grew up surrounded by open skies, strong roots, and stories waiting to be told. That blend of rural stillness and cultural richness shaped the way I see the world — with curiosity, gratitude, and a deep love for everyday beauty. Every click of the shutter became a way to honor those moments — full of warmth, resilience, and connection.

Over the years, I’ve come to believe that life is all about connection. Whether I’m chasing golden-hour light, capturing a quiet moment between two people in love, or playing video games (COD), it’s the in-between moments that matter most — and that’s exactly what I aim to preserve in my work.

I come from a big family — seven siblings strong — where chaos, storytelling, and laughter were our daily rhythm. That spirit of joy and spontaneity now follows me into every photo session. Whether it’s a wedding day packed with emotion or a couple’s shoot filled with soft smiles and stolen glances, my goal is always the same: to help you feel seen, comfortable, and celebrated.

When I’m not behind the lens, you’ll likely find me hiking a trail, planning my next road trip, or making friends with the nearest dog. I believe photography should feel like an adventure — fun, honest, and full of heart.

Through Olive Tree Photography, I bring together my love for storytelling and my deep appreciation for heritage. The olive tree, a powerful symbol of peace, strength, and connection, reflects the soul of my work: grounded, meaningful, and enduring.

So whether you're planning a wedding, celebrating your love, or telling the story of your space — I’d be honored to help you capture it.

Let’s create something beautiful, together.
